Besides the little kid bikes, a few of us also ride fixies. I started so I could ride to the bar and not have to drive home, and now I pretty much ride it instead of drive my car. There are a few crews of kids who all ride fixies throughout phx so we decided to make a gang called The Daggers. The weekend before halloween we threw a race/party (honestly more party than race) called The Dagger Death Race.

It was a basic alleycat race where you get a map of checkpoints you have to go to. You could take any route you wanted and at each checkpoint you had to either get a stamp after completing a task, or get something to show that you were there. For example, a few of the stops included riding through a cemetary and taking a rubbing of a gravestone, run down a tunnel that went 1/4 mile under the 202 to get a bone, and shotgun a beer, spin around in a circle a few times and throw some shit at a barn, if you missed.. repeat til you hit it. The race ended at Sunset Clothing Exchange where we partied and a band played. Shit was awesome. Heres a video of some of the race:
