I seem to go to this contest every year, and Ricard Laguna sent me some info. There's an amateur at the <>famous Desert Breeze skatepark and a Pro Dirt contest that allways gets a lot of pros from all over to show up...
Extreme Thing is the one and only premier action sports/music festival, in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, that takes place March 31, 2007 at Desert Breeze Skate Park. The 2007 eXtreme Thing Action Sports/Music Festival will feature: 9 national act bands on one stage The Ricardo Laguna Pro BMX Dirt Challenge featuring the best riders on the planet With practice on Friday March 30 from 3 pm till 9pm Saturday March 31 practice will start at 10 am in till 3 pm and comp will start right after that. A Full Size Wrestling ring with entertainment provided by Adrenaline Unleashed The Flow Show - the most extravagant, exciting, extreme, and entertaining mountain bike show on the Planet eXtreme Carnival - an assortment of rides from bungee jumping to gyroscope"s and more. The Action Sports Vendor Village, with industry related vendors and sponsor exhibits displayed throughout the skate park. Favorite food and beverages of all kinds available throughout the venue.
